The item which is as per standard JS 55555 2000 has to be DRIP PROOF and subjected to Drip Proof Test Apparatus it consists of nozzles at an interval of 25 mm having bore. The water is allowed to fall from in height of 76 mm having a water head of 300 mm. The test is conducted for a period of 15 min. and the item under test should be operated during that period.
