4) Modes of Operation: Measurement Mode and Normal Operation modes will be provided as follows.

Measurement Mode:

  1. In Measurement mode, for Output Voltage and Output Current terminals will be provided to measure the same by using an Oscilloscope.
  2. For this mode, Switch, under test will be kept in ON position.
  3. In this mode, Load would be Switched on at 900 ± 5 phase-angle. To achieve this necessary controls will be provided.
  4. Digital Oscilloscope will be provided to measure and display Ipeak
  5. Provisions to adjust/select suitable time.
  6. I2t will be calculated (by necessary means/software) and displayed.

Normal Operation Mode:

I.      Measurement Terminals: For the measurement of Output Voltage and Output Current Suitable Oscilloscope terminals will be provided.

II.   SBL Load Adjustments: For the adjustment of Output Current and Time to get the

desired valves of Ipeak and I2t, adjustments for R2 and C will be provided.

Consists

1.    3 Nos. of Voltmeter, Wattmeter, Current meter for 3 samples.

2.    Variable transformer to adjust the voltage as desired.

3.    The resistance & capacitance Bank as per the standard to test 3 samples of type each of 4 Rating.

The entire Load Bank is housed in aluminium extruded section and powder coated DA Grey colour.

The system is also built-in to ensure peak current as per table 22 column No. 1.

It can be verified on oscilloscope (Not part of Load Bank).
